Seymour is the son of famous artist Jimmy Iyuna. He is known for his large scale bark paintings of yawkyawk (young female water spirits). In 2016 his painting Buluwana at Dilebang was a finalist in the bark painting category of the 33rd Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Art Awards.
