Namadorl (Wedge Tailed Eagle)

Namadorl (the Wedge-Tailed Eagle, Aquila audax) is a big bird which nests high up in the rocky country. Its feathers are brown and a little blackish. It lives in the escarpment country and hunts animals up there. Sometimes it comes down to the floodplains and hunts animals and fish near big water bodies. Mibbarr (the white-bellied sea eagle, Haliaeetus leucogaster) can also be seen near the water, nesting in large trees and hunting fish. Mibbarr has brown feathers, but a white neck and belly. Namadorl, mibbarr, marram (the whistling kite, milvus sphenurus), djuddjud (the osprey, Pandion haliaetus) and wak (the crow) all hunt animals and fish. Marram and djuddjud are quite small though, while namadorl and mibbarr are very big.
