Borliblib (Magpie Lark)

Borliblib (the Magpie Lark or peewee, Grallina cyanoleuca) has black and white feathers like manimunak (the magpie goose). But borliblib is very small. We see lots of them in open forest areas and on floodplains, looking for small animals. Borliblib eats things like grasshoppers, lacewings, butterflies and skinks. We see borliblib year-round, and hear her calling “borliblib borliblib borliblib”.
