“Mayh” is the Kunwinjku word for birds, with “mayhmayh” as the plural form. 

This captivating picture book celebrates the vibrant birdlife of West Arnhem Land. Inside, you’ll find 13 original paintings by acclaimed artist Graham Badari, each capturing the essence and beauty of these unique birds. These paintings were the highlight of an exhibition at Nomad Art in Euroa, Victoria, in July 2017. The accompanying text by Graham Badari and Felicity Wright provides detailed descriptions of each bird’s habits and behaviours.
