Adrienne is an up-and-coming weaver based in Gunbalanya. She has been exploring 3D-inspired sculptural forms in her work. Her ‘Manburi’ (Sea turtle) weaving earned her a finalist spot in the 2024 Macquarie Art Prize.Taught by her grandmother in traditional weaving methods, Adrienne continues to carry on the passing of Djang (dreaming) and cultural knowledge. She challenges the boundaries of traditional weaving by incorporating diverse materials and experimenting with sculptural shapes.
