Immerse yourself in the ancient art of weaving with a Traditional Weaving Workshop, proudly hosted by Injalak Art Centre.

Open to all, this immersive four-hour experience invites you to explore the intricate art of weaving alongside Kunwinjku artisans from West Arnhem Land. Under the guidance of local Daluk (Women), you’ll learn a variety of ancient weaving techniques and craft your own piece of woven jewellery.

As you weave with local pandanus fibres, harvested and dyed by the Daluk, you’ll delve into the rich cultural heritage and deep connection to Country that underpins this ancient practice.
